Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 June 2026These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PICYA platform and website at picya.ai, operated by ORA Technologies L.L.C-FZ (“PICYA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using PICYA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
PICYA is an AI-powered assistant platform for beauty professionals. It helps manage client conversations, appointments, reminders, and follow-ups across messaging channels including Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Web.
PICYA is a business communication tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations, and must not be used for any medical or clinical purpose requiring regulatory approval.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use PICYA. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are using PICYA for lawful business purposes.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details. You must not share your access with unauthorised parties. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use PICYA only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use PICYA to send spam, unsolicited messages, or engage in deceptive practices.
- Use PICYA to collect data from clients without appropriate notice and consent.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works based on PICYA.
- Use PICYA in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
- Impersonate another person or entity through PICYA's communications.
- Use PICYA to handle medical data or provide clinical services without appropriate legal basis and safeguards.
5. Your content and client data
You retain ownership of the business information, client data, and content you add to PICYA. By using the service, you grant ORA Technologies a limited licence to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process your clients' data through PICYA, including obtaining any necessary consents from your clients under applicable privacy and data protection laws.
6. AI-generated responses
PICYA uses artificial intelligence to generate responses to client messages based on the information you provide. While we aim for accuracy, AI-generated responses may not always be correct or complete. You remain responsible for reviewing and ensuring the appropriateness of communications sent to your clients through PICYA.
PICYA does not generate medical diagnoses, health assessments, or clinical recommendations. You must not configure PICYA to provide medical advice of any kind to clients.
7. Third-party integrations
PICYA integrates with third-party platforms including Meta (Instagram, WhatsApp) and Telegram. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the terms and policies of those platforms. We are not responsible for changes to third-party platforms that affect the availability or functionality of our service.
8. Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or operational reasons. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.
9. Fees and payment
PICYA is currently in early access. Any fees applicable to your subscription will be communicated to you in advance and in writing. Payment terms, subscription plans, and billing details will be set out in a separate agreement or in your account settings.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ORA Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of PICYA, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.
Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim giving rise to liability.
PICYA is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose or that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ORA Technologies L.L.C-FZ and its officers, directors, and employees from any third-party claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of PICYA in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (c) your infringement of any third party's rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using PICYA at any time by contacting us at hello@picya.ai. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PICYA if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the service, to other users, or to third parties.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of PICYA after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.
